On behalf of the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan H.E. Mr. Dylor Khakimov, Counselor, DHM, Head of Political Section Mr. Ulugbek Agzamov and the Embassy of Uzbekistan to Benelux countries and Missions to the EU and NATO, together with the Diplomatic Magazine, we are pleased to inform you about a very important conference and a visit to this most interesting country in October 2018.

This conference “Women leaders at work; Uzbekistan’s experience for the international community” and the tour of Women Leaders to the Republic of Uzbekistan are greatly recommended.

As you know President Karimov was in power since the country separated from the URSS. After his death Uzbekistan organized its first elections. On 4 December, 2016 the new president was elected and from here on we have seen many positive changes looking to introduce a new economic system, tourism, and new political and economic status for women.

This trip is to support Uzbek women in the economic, academic and political spheres, to exchange information and to explore possibilities for Dutch women in many fields. Besides the International Women’s Congress you can participate in press conferences and official,

commercial and touristic visits.

The Embassy of Uzbekistan is very pleased to present their beautiful country to the IWC during an Uzbekistan Country Morning in January 2019.

We are very much looking forward to this event.
