EXCURSION TO TEXTILE RESEARCH CENTRE
Leiden, September 12, 2018
The Batik exhibition will be replaced by the quilt exhibition: Sherry’s American Quilts.
The TRC is organising a special exhibition in order to celebrate the recent donation of over twenty quilts and tops by the American collector, Sherry Cook. The exhibition will include many examples that this summer arrive at the TRC in Leiden. The exhibition will be presented for only two months, from Monday 20th August until and including 18th October. On the day of our excursion Sherry Cook will be present herself and will tell us about her unique collection, the history of quilts and her donated works.
