Special Events in the Past: China Country Morning, June 2, 2008

The China Country Morning, organized in collaboration with the Chinese Embassy in The Netherlands, took place on June 2, 2008. After a warm word of welcome by H.E. Mr. Zhang Jun the audience was delighted by traditional music and dance performances by the Jiangsu Provincial Peking Opera Academy. The atmosphere was one of anticipation of the upcoming Olympics and sadness because of the recent earthquake. All proceeds from the charity stall went to the China Red Cross Earthquake Fund.
