An important function of the club is to raise funds, which are donated to a variety of both national and internationally oriented charities. In the past we have supported the Maya Gotami Foundation in Thailand, the President’s Fund for Medical Treatment in Sri Lanka, Adventure for Life in The Netherlands, UNICEF, the Women’s Aid Organisation in Kuala Lumpur, Foundation Masaka in Uganda, Foundation Biblionef in The Netherlands and the Red Cross for the earthquake in China and the medical centre Tan Hiep, Kien Giang in Vietnam. To celebrate our 30th Jubilee Year, last Club Year the Club donated proceeds to Mama Cash our Charity of the Year. |
